Helen Dallas

Helen Dallas is a doctoral candidate at Trinity College, University of Oxford. Her thesis is entitled ‘Making Dramatic Character: Theatre, Actors, and Publics in the Romantic Period’. She is supervised by Dr David F Taylor.
Helen is one of the convenors of The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities’ Reimagining Performance Network, and co-created and co-hosts Practice Makes… The Oxford Reimagining Performance Podcast. She maintains a love of performing, writing, and dramaturgy within and beyond her academic work. She has also reviewed plays for Criticks (British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies) and is currently an Ashmolean Junior Teach Fellow at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
